The Welsh and UK Governments have approved Anglesey’s bid to become one of the first Welsh freeports – a fantastic opportunity to bring new, high skilled jobs to our communities.

Anglesey Freeport, a powerful partnership between Isle of Anglesey County Council and Stena Line will operate as a hub for global trade, innovation and investment, whilst supporting local talent and creating new employment opportunities.

If you would like to learn more about Anglesey Freeport, we encourage you to attend our upcoming drop-in event in the heart of Holyhead.

The event will provide an opportunity to learn more about the Freeport and how our plans are progressing.  It will also provide a chance to meet the Freeport team and ask them any questions you have about how the project will deliver for Anglesey.

Taking place at Holyhead Market Hall, Stanley Street, on 1 December 2023, the drop-in event will run from 1pm – 5pm, enabling residents to attend at a time that is convenient for them.
